Show Alert Message to Upgrade their IE browser in jQuery

Nov 16, 2012
Introduction:

Here I will explain how to Show Alert Message to upgrade their IE browser in jQuery.

Description:

In previous posts I explained jQuery Accordion menu Example, Create tooltip in jQuery, Get Browser type and version and many articles relating to jQuery. Now I will explain how to show alert message to upgrade theier IE browser in jQuery.

Suppose we created a stunning modern website that looks and works amazing in modern browsers but the user who came to your site is using browser like IE6 or IE7 or IE8 at that time site will not look nice because some of latest properties won’t work in old version of IE browsers. To avoid this situation we have IE Alert jQuery plugin to show alert message to user like upgrade your IE browser. To use that IE Alert Plugin first download it from the site IE ALERT and write the following code in your page

<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
$("body").iealert();
})
</script>
Whenever we use IE Alert Plugin and run application in IE 6 or 7 or 8 it will show popup like this

For Live Demo check this site in IE 6 or 7 or 8

It's entirely released in Django. Actually they are the individuals who developed the Django framework itself.
